Summer Vacation

Sorry for the delay in the blog this summer...I must say, it has been extrememly busy, and I don't even have a kid in sports yet!! The 17th of July, we left for Wyoming on a week long vacation with Brandon 's family. It was so nice to get away, and what beautiful country out there! We made stops at Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park and Mt. Rushmore. The boys loved seeing all the elk, buffalo and mountain goats...we even saw tons of prarie dogs at The Badlands! Despite the 12 hr drive, Kolton did awesome in the van! I think it helped that uncle Luke or "Uke"was riding in the back of the van to entertain him!!

Corn on the cob!

It's that time of year when we can't wait to sink our teeth into a fresh piece of corn on the cob...Kolton was pretty unsure of his first piece, and wouldn't take a bite until he saw Mommy and Daddy eat it. It's a little tricky for him to eat it b/c he wants to eat it up and down instead of the sideways, like we're supposed to. Also, the butter makes it a little slippery...but it was really fun to watch him eat it!
